"Being Autistic and Dyslexic, most people would never have believed I could complete a degree. Yet, because of the support that I received from my instructors at APAC, I am now a four-time graduate holding double bachelor degrees. The practical skills and knowledge I gained training at APAC not only prepared me for a career in the performing arts but also helped to improve other aspects of my life, like communicating more confidently. I have since gone on to found my own film production company and to pursue my career as an actor and performer. "Arryn Leigh Cox

"The skills I learnt at APAC, gave me the ability to land and tackle my first lead role one year after graduation in '500 miles' an Australian Indie film. As the years went on I realised the lessons I learnt at APAC were always there for me to lean on. Lessons that took me through my supporting lead role in Cage Drive, which had a two-year gap between filming. It went on to be picked up by Lionsgate and was seen on over 1200+ screens World Wide..."Pete Valley

"APAC was an amazing learning experience for me! It enabled me to learn so much about myself and my capabilities as an actress. The educators always ensured classes were safe and supportive environments, which was crucial for me to push my performance boundaries. My growth as an actress landed me a number of great roles, including the lead in a feature film which previewed at a prestigious South Korean Film Festival. I would highly recommend making APAC, your next step in your acting career. "Rachel Stanley
About Australian Performing Arts Conservatory
The Australian Performing Arts Conservatory (APAC) has been shaping performers and filmmakers for almost 30 years. APAC was instrumental in bringing the stage combat discipline to Australian performance. Since then we have built and expanded into the full range of acting abilities, song, dance and filmmaking. In each discipline, we have our own perspectives and unique interpretations. We have a long tradition of success, but we are not ‘traditional’.
We are focused on contemporary theory and practice. We provide high quality, immersive learning to equip you to succeed in the contemporary performing arts and filmmaking. We take pride in being at the leading edge. We find our lecturers at the forefront of their industries and disciplines. Many of our team prefer to describe themselves as actors, singers, dancers or filmmakers – which is how they are respected in the industry. We seek something extra from them. We look for academic knowledge and most importantly their desire and ability to share their knowledge and professionalism with our students.
We start with talented aspirants then we shape them to be successful professionals and more resilient graduates. We recognise that talent makes a good starting point, but strong professional and academic input will make the difference. From our state of the art, modern campus in the centre of Brisbane, we reach out across the globe. We seek out new knowledge and new practices. We blend these into academically sound, professionally recognised outcomes for our students.
