Course Overview
The aged care industry is growing and there is a massive demand for workers across the sector as personal care attendants as well as in leisure and health. A dual qualification in BOTH ageing support AND leisure and health meets this growing industry demand.
This program includes the following qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Ageing Support (CHC43015) and
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (CHC43415)
What You'll Learn
- We will provide you with everything you need to separate yourself from the pack and fast track yourself into this sector. Industry insights indicate that employees that can perform BOTH roles are highly desirable for three key reasons. Firstly having a dual skilled employee provides the aged care providers with more flexibility in terms of rostering and covering gaps within the business
- Secondly, the variety of performing two functions would assist in keeping workers engaged as retaining carers can be challenging
- Thirdly and most exciting of all is the opportunity to lift the standard of care being provided by carers that have the Leisure and Health skill with the focus on well-being and positive ageing
