Course Overview
The health and social assistance industry (which the disability care services sector is part of) is Australia’s largest and fastest growing industry; it expects an employment growth of 250,300 new positions by 2023.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) supports Australians living with a disability as well as older Australians requiring aged care services. So far over 78,000 Australians have taken advantage of the NDIS. It is projected that over 460,000 Australians will access the NDIS. As an insurance scheme, the NDIS takes a lifetime approach and gives all Australians peace of mind that they will get the support they need.
