Course Overview
The CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services provides students with a pathway to various roles in the services industry, including; working with people experiencing drug and alcohol-related issues, mental health or disability.
By studying this course you will gain the knowledge and develop the ability to work with a diverse range of clients. You will learn to coordinate complex case requirements, implement community development strategies while managing legal and ethical compliance.

Entry Requirements
- Minimum Year 11 or equivalent, plus basic computer skills and knowledge of Internet use
- For students accessing VSL – Year 12 certificate, Certificate IV or higher or a competent result in a Government approved LLN reading and numeracy test

Work Placement
This course also requires 100 hours of vocational placement (unpaid) in a live working environment. Students are expected to find their own placement however Sarina Russo Institute will assist you if you have difficulties finding a suitable venue.
