About the role
We are currently seeking a CNC Machine Programmer / Operator & Metal Fabricator with experience in simple CAD and flatbed CNC routing. Previous experience with the assembly of metal screens, fencing and gates would also be preferable but not essential. Working Monday to Thursday 8 hours a day and Friday working 6 hours finishing at 1pm. This is a full-time permanent role. You will need to be physically fit to manage the regular manual handling tasks required of this position.
Skills and experience
- Proficient in CAD drawing
- Proficient in use of CNC Router
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance
- A high degree of accuracy with measurement is essential
- Ability to read engineering drawings and instructions
- Well presented, reliable, excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Adherence to safety procedures and policies at all times, maintaining a safe environment for both yourself and other
