We are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer ASO3 ($40.82 per hour + super) with one of our state government clients for a short term contract with possibility of extension.
Responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices in an accurate and timely manner
- Processing reconciliations
- Providing customer service to clients
- Assisting with the preparation of management reports
- Prepare reconciliations, process accrual and correction journals, and assist in the administration of various financial accounting systems, to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of financial reporting and associated data to clients.
To be considered for the role you will ideally have:
- Knowledge of financial accounting, asset accounting, financial accounting reporting functions
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance
- Work experience in government (desirable)
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
