Job Location: Adelaide
As a Support Worker, you will deliver a variety of services to participants to support them to live a fulfilling and meaningful life in the community. Your working day may include (but not limited to), assistance and or support with daily life, including personal care, domestic activities, social and community participation and varying skill development activities.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Previous Experience (Desirable)
- DHS Clearances or NDIS screening
- Experience working with complex disability/challenging behaviours (Desirable)
- Mental Health training (Desirable)
- Having or being willing to obtain multiple types of clearances and training:
- First Aid Certificate.
- Assisting with medication
- Must have a valid Australian driver’s license and personal car for reliable transport.
- Eligible working rights in Australia.
- Certificate III in Disability Services, or equivalent to Community Services (or willing to obtain certification)
- Availability to work a 7-day roster which will be a combination of shifts including mornings, afternoons, active night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
