Southern Propeller Services is a specialist propeller maintenance company established in 2004 and accommodates all the required specialist equipment for the propeller maintenance processes. Southern Propeller Services also provides Non-Destructive Testing services including Magnetic Particle Inspection, Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection and Eddy Current Inspection methods. We are an authorized Service Facility for both McCauley propellers in the USA and MT Propellers in Germany.
Our Propeller business is growing and an excellent opportunity has become available for a Full Time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Propeller Technician to join our team at Parafield Airport. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail and be able to work with our team. The successful candidate must be familiar with all aspects of maintenance, inspection, reassembly, and disassembly of aircraft propellers. The candidate must be able to carry out repairs and overhauls on Hartzell, McCauley, MT, Sensenich and Hoffman propellers. Candidates must hold either an AQF Cert IV or equivalent or three (3) years relevant experience. The candidate must be competent in the overhaul and repair of fixed pitch and full feathering/reversing propellers. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Depending on the experience, an excellent package between $60000 - $75000 will be provided to the successful applicant.
