FENG SHUI PTY LTD Trading as One 68 General Store and Takeaway in Maningrida NT is looking for a full-time Truck Driver to join our energetic team, to operate 1x Food Van , and 1 Truck .
The main duties are :
- Delivery products to assigned destination.
- Verifying loading documents, checking condition of goods and obtaining certification of deliveries.
- Maintains telephone contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
- Loads and unloads vehicles.
- Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles.
- Inspects vehicle equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water, to ensure they can drive safely.
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.
- Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, tire chains, and spark plugs.
- Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit. 10. Other duties may be assigned.
Applicant must hold Australian HR drivers licence. Minimum 2 years relevant full-time working experiences .
Competitive salary package $55,000 to $60,000 for the right person. Only shortlisted candidate will be contacted.
