Mainland Civil Group of companies are a medium to large civil engineering Group, based in Kogarah Sydney. We are seeking someone who is highly organised, motivated, and well presented, with an excellent attention to details. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for completing all accounting functions for the groups’ small companies and Supervising the accounts payable function for various companies within the group. Duties will include:
- Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations for small companies
- Examination of operations costs and revenue
- Preparation of monthly financial statements for management
- Work in Progress Preparation
- Maintain internal control systems
- Compliance with statutory requirements
- Liaising with the project management team to forecast projects profits
- Assist with invoice approval process.
- Supervision of the data entry of invoices, subcontractor payments and confirmation of correct approval process
- Supervision of Creditor enquiries
- Supervision and approval of Creditor Reconciliations
- Supervision of the payment processing of EFT’s and cheque runs
Experience and skills required:
- Some past experience
- Tertiary education in accounting or commerce
- Driver’s License
- Must have excellent communication skills
