The Role
Work with business stakeholders across Defence to ensure business readiness for ERP, including, but not limited to:
- Stakeholder engagement and communication to support readiness for ERP releases;
- Coordination of HR business requirements and input into ERP releases;
- Coordination and review of ERP documents such as Business Process Documents (BPD), Business Impact Assessments (BIA) and Transition Action Plans (TAP);
- Coordination and review of learning materials
- Legacy system planning and integration – including decommissioning activities.
Support the ERP program with the following:
- Definition of HR and E&T business requirements within the hire to retire value chain;
- Integration of payroll and legacy system interfaces;
- Testing validation and conduct of testing (System Integration Testing, Parallel Pay Testing), review and creation of business scenarios, etc;
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assurance of reform activities;
- Data migration, mapping, profiling, archiving and governance activities.
About our Team
HR Transformation is a program of change and reform activities that are undertaken in response to strategic direction and drivers. HRTB provides a program view of these activities to ensure that the work is prioritised, sequenced, aligned and resourced appropriately; this includes the connections to the Education and Training domain and integration with the Joint Workforce Systems work. HRTB provides the conduit to the Defence Transformation Office for the management of transformation across the HR domain.
HR Transformation Branch (HRTB) ERP Business Readiness is broadly responsible for supporting the ERP program to help define HR and E&T business requirements within the hire to retire value chain, integration to payroll and legacy system interfaces and business impact assessments.
Our Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
- Resolve problems in collaboration with stakeholders taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
- Develop plans and select appropriate techniques at the correct level of detail to meet assigned objectives.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of human resource and payroll systems used within Defence
- Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, exchange information to achieve business outcomes
- Analyse data and information, identify and develop recommendations, contribute to the resolution of complex HR issues.
- Appraise and verify new and updated functional and technical specifications, test scenario’s and business outcomes to ensure they meet Defence requirements.
- Interpret and understand agreed methods and standards to assist in the creation and execution of testing artefacts.
- Provide operational support to project management and facilitate administrative and coordination requirements.
- Use experience to apply project management methodologies to administrative and technical activities.
