About the role
As a Business Services Senior, you will be responsible for:
- Build good rapport with team members, obtain a clear understanding of client expectations and achieving high levels of client service
- Preparation of financial statements for all entities across a diverse industry base, including SMSF
- BAS/ FBT/ GST preparation
- Complete year end matters for all entities
- Complete Business & Instalment Activity Statements
- Assist with the various tax planning and business advisory work
- Assist and mentor junior team members
- Liaise strongly with clients through meetings, phone calls and emails
Skills and experience The right person will:
- Degree qualified, Membership of IPA/CPA/CA
- Work without supervision
- Be self-motivated and driven to produce high quality work
- Enjoy working in a flat team structure
- Be interested in researching and solving issues
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in an accounting firm preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns
- Have strong computer skills
- Learn new things quickly
- Must have permanent residency and live in Brisbane, Australia

Reporting directly to the Director, you will be involved in tax and accounting compliance, strategic business/finance advice to clients, business development strategies for the firm.
