About the Opportunity
Katherine West Health Board (KWHB) is currently looking for an Assets and Maintenance Property Officer to join their team for an opportunity in Katherine, NT.
The Assets and Property Maintenance Officer will undertake a range of duties involved in the efficient and effective maintenance of KWHB vehicles, assets and buildings, as well as provide support to the Assets Coordinator in asset management. This position will travel to remote communities within the Katherine West Health Board region to attend to remote maintenance requirements.
About You
This role is well-suited to someone adventurous, with a love for travel. You'll need to be resilient and flexible, comfortable handling the difficulties and potential environmental challenges that come with working in remote Australia. Any experience working in cross-cultural environments or remote health would be highly regarded, but not essential.
Please note: You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 under the Public and Environmental Health Act 2011 of the Northern Territory of Australia. You will need to have, or be willing to obtain, a current Driver's License, Working with Children Check, and Police Check.
This role will involve travel, spending time out in remote communities, staying overnight and travelling via 4WD, dirt roads and light aircraft as required.
