SDN Children's Services is a not-for-profit organisation that has been delivering quality early childhood education and child care, children's therapies and family support services since 1905.
We are one of Australia's most respected children's services organisations, and have over 700 staff across 37 sites in Sydney, regional NSW and the ACT. We also have therapists who support children with autism or a developmental delay, and can help overcome the challenges that can make everyday life and participation tough for children.
About The Role
As the face of our organisation, you will provide reception and administrative support for our Shared Services office and support teams across the organisation with their reception and administration needs.
Your duties will include:
- Reception duties - answering telephone calls and emails
- Mail and courier management, setting up of meeting rooms, maintaining cleaniness of the office
- Ordering and distribution of SDN uniforms and responding to uniform queries
- Petty cash management, cab charges, banking, invoice processing
- Provide support across the organisation when required
- Stock management of stationery and office supplies within budget
This is a full time permanent position based at our Shared Service office located in Ultimo / Glebe, next to Broadway Shopping Centre, close to public transport.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine interest in developing relationships with stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously with strong time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to problem solve, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient IT skills
- Working with Children's Check (NSW)
