About the Role
The role is best suited to an experienced person who has worked in a similar role and will require the following:
- Proven work experience as Warehouse Shift Supervisor in a warehouse or similar role
- Lead and develop a culture focusing on safety, service, and operational excellence
- Provide direction on day-to-day activities, growth, development, and excellence
- Develop strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
- An ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, develop relationships at all levels and promote the business and its values
- Drive performance with a focus on operational efficiency, managing cost control and a continuous improvement
- Forklift licence preferred but not mandatory
Available Roles
Morning Shift: 6:30am to 3:30pm
Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm to 11:30pm
Weekend Shift: Friday lunchtime through to Monday lunchtime
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Supervising the site and warehouse staff to achieve required objectives
- You will be responsible for supervision of day-to-day operational warehouse tasks are completed within the performance, safety, and compliance requirements of the business.
- Organising trucks, contractors, rosters and labour hire
- Allocation of resources and or labour as per volume requirements and business priorities
- Manage productivity on shift
- Completion of incident reports
