Western Clinic Medical Centre is seeking an EXPERIENCED General Practice Nurse.
We are a very busy General Practice Clinic, providing exceptional health care to patients of all ages in our community - consulting across 7 days.
Our Nursing Staff are integral to the provision of health care within our practice.
***** General Practice Nursing Experience is a Mandatory Requirement for this position****
The duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to);
Triage of patients
Assisting GP’s with procedures
Attending to patient's medical needs - general observations, ECG, Ear Syringing, Wound care, removal of sutures
Preparation and administration of Covid vaccine, Preparation and administration of general vaccines, including babies and children, Follow protocol regarding vaccination procedures
Chronic Disease management and identifying patient educational needs, Preventative healthcare
Daily co-ordination of the treatment room: stock control, sterilisation, general maintenance and care of medical instruments and equipment
Effective management of Hotdoc patient reminder systems
Coordination, management and maintenance of patient clinical data
Covid Precautions are Mandatory in our Health Care setting - All personnel and clients are required to wear an appropriate face mask
