Shift Runner (ANZSCO 621511 - RETAIL SUPERVISOR)  

$45,000 - $55,000  

Permanent/Full-time  

Duties and responsibilities:  

  • Supervise a small team within either the delivery services or the in-house sales services
  • Interview, recruit, performance manage, reward, counsel and discipline employees, in collaboration with Store Manager
  • Train staff on how to handle sales and difficult customers, and manage staff grievances
  • Implement rosters, plan and prepare work processes and assign staff to specific duties
  • Ensure customers are receiving prompt services and correct products as per their orders
  • Maintain a close watch on the quality of the offerings - before they are passed on to customers
  • Ensure signages, promotions, pricing are correctly displayed and adhered to
  • Manage and respond to customers’ inquiries, and resolve customer complaints, in consultation with Store Manager, where necessary
  • Undertake inventory control - to ensure the replenishing of raw supplies in a timely manner
  • Ensure raw supplies are correctly stowed, rotated and discarded, when appropriate
  • Ensure food-safety legislation and procedures, cleanliness procedures, as well as workplace safety procedures for employees, customers and suppliers, are adequately propagated/published and adhered to
  • Undertake cash control and end-of-shift till re-conciliation
  • Monitor GPS system management of delivery vehicles
  • Undertake regular training with franchisor for upgraded/new products and then onward train new/existing staff
  • Assist Store Manager in completing and submitting weekend paperwork to head office.   

Qualifications

Cert II or above in relevant field

Minimum one year experience

Other combination of qualifi cation/experience will be considered on a case by case basis
