Your new role
In your new role, you will be working, learning, and developing your skills as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic from an experienced team. Your responsibilities may include:
- Heavy diesel vehicle servicing from minor repairs to major rebuilds
- Completing a broad range of technical diagnostics and fault-finding
- Reviewing work orders and performing inspections of equipment
- Ensuring your work area is kept clean, tidy, and safe and that all equipment and tools are satisfactory for use
- Collaborating with the team to ensure the daily work schedule goals are met
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be in your second or third year of a Trade Certificate III (Vehicle Mechanic) along with:
- Demonstrated experience in manual handling
- Possess a current Australian State or territory class C Driver’s Licence
- Current Police Clearance or ability to obtain
- Exceptional communication skills
Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to have a security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
