Pooraka Fencing Supplies - Is a SA family-owned fence manufacturing company, that has been Supplying & Installing fences throughout South Australia for nearly 50 years.
We specialize in Chainwire Fencing, Custom made Gates including large commercial sliding gates + compounds, steel stockist & various styles of Tubular Fencing to suit commercial & residential areas.
We are seeking an experienced Fencing Estimator / Sales Consultant who has a good knowledge of STEEL & / or FENCING MATERIALS / INSTALLING to join our team in Pooraka.
Main duties will include:
- Attending to new & existing customer enquiries / job quote requests
- Meeting on-site to measure up fence line, requests and preparing quotations back in the office
- Providing written quotes to clients, and follow ups
- Project Managing Installations – booking in Subcontractors, explain jobs to subbies
- Enter orders into system
- Managing & maintaining existing account customers

- Using MYOB AR / Live software, emailing using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word
- Answering phones & counter sales
- Qualification & Experience :
- v Having experience in Chainwire & Tubular Fencing would be preferred,
- v A min of 2 years’ experience in the Steel industry is essential.
- v Current Drivers licence
- v Experience in Sales
- v Have excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- v Good time management
- v Previous experience as a fencing contractor – advantage
- v Confident using computers, MYOB Account Right + emailing, using Outlook, excel & work - advantage ( training can be arranged )
