Shift Runner (ANZSCO: 621511 - Retail Supervisor)
Full- Time/ Permanent
$50,000 to $55,000
Duties and responsibilities:
- Manage a small team within either the delivery services or the in-house sales services
- Interview, recruit, performance manage, reward, counsel and discipline employees
- Train staff on how to handle sales and difficult customers, and manage staff grievances
- Prepare rosters, plan and prepare work processes and assign staff to specific duties
- Ensure customers are receiving prompt services and correct products as per their orders
- Maintain a close watch on the quality of the offerings - before they are passed on to customers
- Ensure signages, promotions, pricing are correctly displayed and adhered to
- Manage and respond to customers’ inquiries, and resolve customer complaints
- Undertake inventory control and ordering - to ensure the replenishing of raw supplies in a timely manner
- Ensure raw supplies are correctly stowed, rotated and discarded, when appropriate suppliers, are adequately propagated/published and adhered to
- Undertake cash control and end-of-shift till reconciliation
- Monitor GPS system management of delivery vehicles
- Undertake regular training with franchisor for upgraded/new products and then onward train new/existing staff
- Assist in completing and submitting weekend paperwork to head office.
An AQF Certificate II or equivalent and at least 1.5 years (20 hours plus per week) relevant post qualification experience, or
At least a relevant AQF or equivalent certificate III and at least 1 year (20 hours plus per week) relevant post qualification experience, or
At least two years (38 hours plus per week) relevant experience.
