Ozlanka Nominees Pty Ltd T/as Brumbys Alice Springs require a Pastry Chef/Cook
Salary: $55000 - $65,000
Duties:
Applicants should have an excellent knowledge of baking cakes and pastry making techniques,
maintaining quality and consistency including:
Masking and decorating cakes
Measuring and mixing of ingredients
Follow production/recipe sheets
Finishing and packaging of products
Cleaning and wash up of production and other areas
Glaze buns and pastries
Other occasional tasks related to your role
In order to be considered for this role you will need the following Qualifications and Experience:
Cert III or IV in Pastry or Commercial Cookery
Minimum 2 years in a similar role
Demonstrated understanding of the Food Safety Program and Legislative requirements (OSH,
Fire/Evacuation, Infection Control)
Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
Pride in the quality of the pastry food that is produced
Must be well presented and a reliable team player but also efficient when working independently
Ability to communicate effectively with management and customers
