Skilled Form work Carpenter required. Fulltime work with a minimum of 38 hours a week. Duties include:
- cutting, measuring, forming up, slip-forming, building moulds, and edge boarding
- assemble manufactured forms, made from steel, wood or heavy plastic
- apply codes and standards to building trade and services contracting
- apply building codes and standards to the construction process for swimming pools and spas
- apply structural principles to construction of swimming pools and spas
- select, procure and store construction materials for swimming pools and spa projects

Suitable candidates should be in top physical condition and be able to read blueprints. They must be proficient in measuring and cutting, because the pre-made form sizes don’t always match the exact structure dimensions, and the candidates must construct fillers to bridge the gaps. Basic knowledge of carpenter tools and the ability to figure angles, level and square the forms is essential. Candidates should have a working knowledge of the various methods used to assemble all major types of forms. And because a high percentage of commercial construction involves multilevel structures, candidates should also be comfortable working at heights.
